Referral reward terms
These terms apply to referrals accepted from . Please read them before making an introduction.
The reward is one AU$250 gift card for an eligible referral whose loan settles through Loanswest. Your friend chooses when to get in touch, and Luke confirms eligibility with you in writing.

Who the program is for
The program is for existing Loanswest clients aged 18 or over, referring friends or family in Australia. It does not cover self-referrals, employees or paid professional introducers. Commercial referral arrangements need a separate written agreement.
An introduction, with permission
Share Luke’s contact details with someone who wants them and let that person choose whether to get in touch. Tell them you may receive a gift card if their loan settles. Do not send their financial documents or personal information, offer credit advice, submit an application for them or send unsolicited promotional messages.
Recording the referral
The referred person must be a new Loanswest client, not already in an active enquiry or application. They name their referrer when first contacting Luke, by phone, email or the enquiry form. Luke confirms the referral’s eligibility in writing before either person relies on a reward.
When a reward qualifies
The referrer receives one AU$250 gift card when an eligible residential purchase, refinance or investment loan arranged through Loanswest settles. A joint application or split loan counts as one referral, not a reward per borrower or loan account. Enquiries, pre-approvals and applications that do not settle do not qualify.
Receiving the gift card
The gift card is delivered within 30 days of settlement, once eligibility and the referrer’s delivery details are confirmed. Loanswest confirms the gift-card provider, delivery method, expiry and any usage restrictions in writing when accepting the referral. The reward is not redeemable for cash.
Your friend’s loan comes first
A referral does not guarantee credit approval, a particular rate or access to a lender. Recommendations are based on the borrower’s needs and circumstances, not the reward. The referred person remains free to choose another broker or lender, or not proceed, without owing a referral fee.
Privacy and discretion
Only information needed to record the introduction and administer an eligible reward is used. Loanswest seeks the borrower’s permission before confirming reward eligibility with the referrer, because that can reveal that a loan has settled. Loan amounts, lender choices and other application details are not shared with the referrer.
Fair handling of duplicates and disputes
If more than one person claims an introduction, Luke asks the borrower to confirm who referred them before deciding eligibility. Suspected duplicate, false or self-referrals are checked, with an opportunity to clarify the facts. Any decision to decline a reward includes an explanation and a way to request a review.
Changes and your rights
Any future change or closure will be published with an effective date and will not retrospectively remove a reward from a referral already accepted under the applicable terms. Nothing in this program excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Referrers should obtain independent advice about any tax implications relevant to them.
